Well… According to my counts… Since the first year that there were the Hunger Games…
Not including the 50º and 74º annual Hunger Games, there were 72. 24 tributes were fighting to death… 23 died and only one had survived.
That means that…
72 Games x 23 dead tributes = 1656 deaths
Now… The 50º annual Hunger Games (when Haymitch won) was an exception: there were 48 tributes competing instead of 24.
Haymitch was the only who survived, which mean that 47 tributes died that year.
1656 + 47 = 1703 deaths
In the 74º annual Hunger Games, they were two winners (Katniss and Peeta) instead of one. Which means 22 deaths instead of 23.
1703 + 23 = 1726 deaths
In the 75º annual Hunger Games, the only children there were Katniss and Peeta that survived, so I’m not counting with the adults…
OVERALL
In 74 years of Hunger Games, 1726 children, between the ages of twelve and eighteen, died in the Hunger Games
